The
igeacom SLU (Security
Lifeguard Unit) is designed to
provide two-way, hands-free voice
communication between the user and
the monitoring station utilizing
standard Sur-guard receiver
technology. Two-way voice
communication enables the monitoring
station to quickly identify the
user’s situation, immediately
dispatching the appropriate
assistance and assuring the resident
that help is on the way. The system
can easily be activated by the
resident that is wearing a portable
sealed remote transmitter or through
other detectors that can be worn or
placed within the home or premises.
The igeacom SLU has been designed and built with in the simple user interface of a common telephone making it very user-friendly and acceptable. The hands-free voice communication feature with the monitoring station operates in full-duplex mode. The system is highly adaptable by offering numerous accessory detectors and devices that increase the level of the user’s security within the home.
Some of the accessories include: motion/non-motion detector; smoke and gas detectors; door and window contacts; remote panic or emergency buttons; a fall-down transmitter; and a remote automatic door opener transmitter. Another unique feature of our system is the use of Satellite Units. These units greatly expand the voice communication feature within the home, ensuring voice contact with the user throughout larger dwellings. The satellites are controlled remotely by the monitoring station and can be independently activated to locate the resident with in the home.
The igeacom SLU also has the ability to incorporate a medication or event reminder feature that can be programmed to the needs of the resident.
