  Wound Management

Our systems allow patients to capture their own wound image and send it directly to their care provider for assessment and treatment. Patient-education programs can deliver step-by-step instructions to the patient and/or caregiver on cleaning and dressing a wound, applying products such as peri-wound care skin protection, and offer nutritional advice.

Healthanywhere systems also provide innovative access for case managers, home care nurses and enterostomal therapists to document and share information about a patient’s wound (i.e., size, location, etc.) and even transfer images, patient data and their care plan to other team members for consultation.

Healthanywhere’s products can help improve care for patients with pain through the following:

Patient Education: Delivery of multi-media step-by-step instructions to the patient and/or caregiver on wound care including cleaning and packaging protection.  Additional content on proper nutrition can also be provided to the patient.

Wound Assessment and Care Plan: Suitable tools for the case manager, home care nurse and enterostomal therapist to document and share information about the patient’s wound including images, size, location, etc. Patient data and the care plan can be easily shared with other members of the healthcare team.

Remote Wound Management: Patient or caregiver can capture wound images and have them electronically stored in a database.

Remote Monitoring: Vital signs monitoring including temperature, pulse, blood sugar, and blood pressure to determine factors that may be prohibiting proper healing.

Video Consultation: Wound images can be remotely accessed by the enterostomal therapist or physician. A nurse can conduct video consultation sessions on specific cases.
